Kitchen Manager

Lead Barista

  • Uphold Teleo’s coffee standards by training staff, correcting inconsistencies, and overseeing espresso, milk, and brewing quality.

  • Serve as the main liaison with the roastery, managing weekly coffee orders, quality control, cuppings, and monthly TDS checks.

  • Lead ongoing education for new and current team members, maintain updated training resources, and implement new coffee procedures or SOPs.

  • Ensure excellent customer service, consistency, and team performance by modeling Teleo’s core values and managing quality on the bar.

  • Oversee retail coffee presentation and sales, including stocking shelves, rotating products, and educating staff on product knowledge.

  • Balance bar shifts with administrative responsibilities, communicating needs to management and fulfilling leadership tasks with ownership and integrity.
